Three AUP books make the cut in the 2020 Book Design Awards

We are thrilled that three AUP books have been recognised as finalists in the PANZ 2020 Book Design Awards.

Dragonflies and Damselflies of New Zealand designed by Carolyn Lewis (cover design) and Katrina Duncan (interior design), and Exploring Society: Sociology for New Zealand Students, 4th Edition designed by Kalee Jackson (cover design) and Katrina Duncan (interior design) have been nominated for the Edify Award for Best Educational Book or Series – Secondary/Tertiary.

And continuing it’s amazing awards run, Mophead written and illustrated by Selina Tusitala Marsh and designed by Vida Kelly has been nominated for both the Harpercollins Publishers Award for Best Cover and the Scholastic New Zealand Award for Best Children’s Book.

Congratulations to all of the designers of these special books and those designers and creative folk who have worked on the finalist titles.
