Shipping

Auckland University Press books are available from all good bookshops in New Zealand and available to order from bookshops (online and bricks and mortar) overseas through our distributors. We encourage you to buy from your great local bookstore!

For orders made through our website, our shipping charges are (NZD):

• $8.50 flat rate for orders shipped throughout New Zealand.
• $40 for orders up to $80 in value shipped overseas.
• $70 for overseas orders from $80–$150 in value shipped overseas.
• $100 for overseas orders over $150 in value shipped overseas.

New Zealand orders should arrive within 5 days via tracked courier.

Overseas orders are sent by air. Please note these are not tracked. Orders should arrive in 2-5 weeks but with current freight issues they can take three months. We strongly encourage you to order instead from your local bookshop. 

Cancellations, Returns & Refunds

 Auckland University Press must be contacted by email or phone within 14 days of purchase for a returns authorisation. Email pressorders@auckland.ac.nz or phone +64 9 373 7528.

In the event that you receive a faulty or incorrect book, we will happily exchange the book at no further cost. Otherwise, books must be returned in their original condition (i.e. not marked or damaged in any way). We do not operate a returns policy for change-of-mind purchases.

Payments and Pricing

We accept payment by Visa and Mastercard.

All prices listed are in New Zealand dollars. GST applies to all New Zealand orders. All prices are correct when published. Please note that we reserve the right to alter prices at any time for any reason. If this should happen after you have ordered a product, we will contact you prior to processing your order.

Auckland University Press is a division of the University of Auckland, which is incorporated in New Zealand. Orders will appear on your statement as UOA Auckland Unipress.
