Suzanne Duncan is a researcher from Te Rarawa and Te Aupōuri. Born and raised in Te Waipounamu, Suzanne was a lecturer in Te Tumu: School of Māori, Pacific and Indigenous Studies at the University of Otago, before moving recently to Te Hiku to make a deeper connection with her whakapapa and whenua. Passionate about Māori development, she actively pursues projects that advance the aspirations of Māori communities in education, media and environmental management.
