A Clear Dawn: New Asian Voices from Aotearoa New Zealand won the Upstart Press Award for Best Non-Illustrated Book 2022 at last night's PANZ Book Design Awards.

The AUP team is applauds our designer Keely O’Shannessy and typesetter Tina Delceg for their work on this book, and are thrilled to be able to celebrate the industry recognition.

Judges comments say the book is '. . . a perfect example of designing for content. It stands on its cover and the type treatment of the pages. . . . A worthy book given the typographical treatment it deserves.'

A Clear Dawn: New Asian Voices from Aotearoa New Zealand, edited by Paula Morris and Alison Wong, is a landmark anthology of creative work by 75 emerging Asian New Zealand writers.
