A Clear Dawn: New Asian Voices from Aotearoa New Zealand won the Upstart Press Award for Best Non-Illustrated Book 2022 at last night's PANZ Book Design Awards.

Judges comments say the book is '. . . a perfect example of designing for content. It stands on its cover and the type treatment of the pages. . . . A worthy book given the typographical treatment it deserves.'
A Clear Dawn: New Asian Voices from Aotearoa New Zealand, edited by Paula Morris and Alison Wong, is a landmark anthology of creative work by 75 emerging Asian New Zealand writers.
